Construction Updates
May 2026
We’re pleased to share the latest progress from the Sovereign construction site as construction continues to advance through key interior and exterior milestones.
Early in the month, crews will begin drywall installation in the main floor lobby while completing the water entry room installation and final piping work within the tower’s vertical shaft. Interior finishing progress will continue with final paint completion in the Level 04 and 05 units.
Mid-month, exterior progress will remain a major focus as crews complete exterior paneling at Level 14 and finalize mechanical room piping at the roof level. Interior suite finishing will begin in alternating skip suites throughout Levels 03, 05, 07, and 09. Exterior waterproofing activities and EIFS finishing work are also scheduled to begin during this period.
Later in May, the punch-out process will begin on Level 04 suites as teams work through detailed quality review and finishing items. In the parkade, the temporary electrical shack will be removed as site infrastructure continues transitioning toward final conditions.
To close out the month, crews will prime the main floor lobby and begin concrete finishing work within P1 and P2 levels of the parkade. FRP repairs within the parkade are also scheduled for completion.
The following is an anticipated schedule only; unforeseen weather or field conditions may require adjustments to locations or dates. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as construction progresses.
Traffic & Access Update:
No road closures or after-hours work are planned for May.
