Construction Updates
AUGUST 2026
August will bring continued progress across the Sovereign site, with a strong focus on exterior concrete work, landscaping preparation, building commissioning, and the final stages of appliance delivery.
Early in the month, appliance deliveries will continue throughout the tower. Crews will also pour the ATCO gas meter pad and install the meter, backfill the northeast planter walls, complete townhome touch-ups, and continue tile installation on Level 13.
During the second and third weeks, detailed excavation will continue on the west side of the site where the construction skip was located. Crews will complete the west drive-lane pours in stages and pour the footings and walls for the east and south planters. Parkade traffic coating will also continue, while appliance delivery progresses toward completion.
By the end of August, hardscape work is expected to be complete and landscape preparation will begin. Mechanical systems throughout the building will move through final commissioning, and crews will prepare for the fire alarm verification inspection scheduled for September 8.
The following schedule is tentative and may change due to weather or site conditions. We appreciate everyone’s continued patience and cooperation as work progresses.
Traffic & Access Update:
No road closures or after-hours work are planned for August.
