The Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation
May 3, 2007 - Avi Amir, President and Founder of Homes by Avi presented a $15,000 cheque to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation at the second “Built With Bear Hands" home. The cheque represents a portion of the proceeds from the future sale of this show home located in Summerside.
This is the 2nd chapter of “The Built with Bear Hands" campaign, an ongoing partnership between Homes by Avi and the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. This special show home is located in Carma’s community Summerside, Edmonton’s first and only recreational lake community. The home is a 2047 sq ft, three bedroom plan that features hardwood floors, granite countertops and a large bonus room with a full height fireplace. It is open for viewing and will be priced for sale this year. Homes by Avi understands that community support is crucial if the Stollery Children's Hospital is to maintain the best quality of pediatric health care not only in Alberta but also all of Western and Northern Canada.
