Home of Hope

Homes by Avi is focused on helping the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) Alberta/NWT Chapter build their dream of a future without breast cancer. Through the innovative “Home of Hope” project we donate the net proceeds from the sale of select show homes to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Everyone who enters these special homes will learn about breast cancer and hopefully be inspired to help with the Foundations work by either making a donation or volunteering their time and talents.

It’s the third year Homes by Avi has donated proceeds from a special show home to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. This year, Avi committed to donating the proceeds of 2 show homes, one located in Meadowbrook Ravines, a south Edmonton community, the other in Copperfield, a SE Calgary community (sold with a December 2006 possession), thus expanding the partnership to a province wide campaign.

The Calgary- Home of Hope, located in Copperfield just sold and Avi Amir presented the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation with a cheque for $46,500. These funds represent Homes by Avi's committment to the cause and the donation to the chapter for this fiscal year.

Nilesh Raniga, new owner of the home says, "he was thrilled to learn that he had purchased the home of Hope", and would like to convey his gratitude to Homes by Avi for their continued support of this worthy cause. He has donated a personal pledge to the foundation and joined Homes by Avi in support of the fight against this terrible disease.

”Our company feels it is important to be a responsible corporate citizen” says Avi Amir, President and founder of Homes by Avi. “We contribute to the society that in turn supports us, and we see supporting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation as a perfect opportunity to do that.”

”We here at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation are excited and honored to be partnering with a company that selflessly shows such innovation and dedication to our cause” says Trish Bronsch, Executive Director of CBCF.
